Our goal is to help the children grow into positive, stable, educated and successful people. Our children come from different backgrounds. There are students not only from Bosnia and Herzegovina, but also from other countries as well. The dialogue between children helps them enhance not just their communication skills but also helps them understand various other cultures around them.

 

All of us have the right to a good and meaningful life as human beings. Our children hold the key to a world that is better and beautiful. If we provide them with the right tools for growth, we can be assured that they will build a better future for themselves and for the people of the world. The school has hired professional and experienced teaching staffs who work with a lot of respect and love for children. The curriculum of primary classes is realized in English and Bosnian languages.

 

In the interactive communication that is typical for modern pedagogic and educational movements in the world, the students, with the help and the encouragement of their teachers, are getting familiar, first of all, with the things that are primary in their own spheres of interests.

 

Students have access to computers and the internet. Through a small “window” with the teacher’s guidance, the students can work on discovering the secrets of a new and exciting world.

The Preschool Department gives preschool children the possibility to get ready socially, emotionally and academically for the “real” school. The children spend time with the teachers, who are not family members, but at the same time try their best to give the children nurturing environments filled with love, help and protection. Learning is an integral part of the system and this is done through the usage of the English language.

The school has a restaurant which provides healthy nutritious and wholesome meals.  Two meals are offered to full time students and they are carefully chosen based on the child’s age and its culinary habits.

 

After-school activities are a very important part of education here at the International Primary School. There are several after school activities to choose from based on the ability and the desire that a student has. During leisure, through these activities, under the teacher’s supervision, the children are able to develop their intellectual, social and other strengths.

 

After engaging with interesting activities, without any stress, children leave the school, go back to their families, where they happily spend the rest of the day.
